In Westside Story, Maria and Tony met at the school dance. Danny and Sandy met on a beach vacation in Grease. Plenty of real-life couples meet at college, on trips, in bars, at church or are introduced by friends. But for two Middle-Georgia-born actors, they met...and got married...right here in our local community theatre scene.

We also love our GRITS, or Girls Raised in the South.It's because so many potential audience members know strong, charming Southern women in real life that director Jim Crisp and the board of directors at Theatre Macon decided it was time to bring Steel Magnolias back to their stage.
