City Market on The Green
| December 13, 2008 | ||
The unique sound of steel drums will echo through the City Market on the Green in downtown Macon Saturday December 13, 2008. A local group will provide the free entertainment between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Poplar Street and MLK Blvd. Providing a range of music from Caribbean tunes to holiday melodies, the steel drums will offer a great beat to enjoy while shopping for local produce and holiday gifts.
All market vendors are local entrepreneurs. Items are all handmade and include goat’s milk soap, fabric and natural holiday wreaths, gourd Santa’s, salsa, dried apples, holiday baskets, local honey, dog coats and hand made treats, and home made baked goods. Locally grown produce includes apples from North Georgia, sweet potatoes, onions and more. For more information contact Naomi Davis, 478-836-4564
