City Market on the Green will have their Grand Opening on April 4th!
 
City Market on the Green, located on Poplar Street and MLK Blvd in downtown Macon, offers a wide range of local crafts, baked goods and produce. Unique craft items ranging from hand carved mahogany to local pottery, hand made jewelry, custom crocheted items, and hand crafted wooden pens are suitable for birthday gifts, corporate gifts, anniversaries and more. Food items include home canned relish, hand made cheese straws, sour dough rolls, zucchini bread, butters cake, orange brownies and assorted cookies. Locally grown seasonal produce includes tomatoes, figs, peaches, squash, onions, and watermelons. Farmers bring produce as it is ready for harvest. 

Also available for sale are potted herbs such as lemon grass, mints, and oregano. Compost tea, worm castings and diatomaceous earth are for sale by various market vendors.
